Section 2 | Hazard Identification 

Classification of this product is in accordance with paragraph 1910.1200 of OSHA with the UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), Revision 3, issued in the GHS. This rule became effective May 25, 2012.

Section 3 | Composition/ Information on Ingredients 

Chemical Name: PC4 or also known as recycled carpet backing material. It is made up of limestone – a mixture of calcium and magnesium carbonates. 


Section 4 | First Aid Measures 

Inhalation: In case of accidental inhalation, remove the person to fresh air and keep at rest. If unconscious, place person in recovery position and seek medical advice and/or call a physician. 

Contact with eyes: In case of contact with eyes: Remove contact lenses. Rinse immediately with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice immediately. 

Skin contact: In case of contact with skin, wash immediately off with soap and water. 

Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a medical professional. Keep respiratory tract clear. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Seek medical services immediately if conditions worsen.

Extinguishing Media: Use media suitable to extinguish surrounding fire. 

Fire Fighters Methods and Protection: Firefighters should wear full protective equipment and NIOSH approved self-contained breathing apparatus.

Section 6 | Spill and Leak Procedures 

Steps to take in Case Material is Released or Spilled. No health effects expected from clean-up of this material if contact can be avoided. Follow personal protective equipment instructions found in Section 8 of this SDS. Prevent the spread of any spill to minimize harm to human health and the environment. Gather and store in sealed container pending waste disposal evaluation.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, dry well-ventilated place.
